LIONPRO Launches 2025 Educational Initiative with Poultry Seminar in Harare, Zimbabwe
We launched 2025 educational initiative by hosting our first poultry seminar of the year in Harare, Zimbabwe. The event, aimed at strengthening the capabilities of local poultry farmers and agribusiness professionals, underscored our commitment to knowledge sharing and sustainable agricultural development.
At LIONPRO, education is viewed as a cornerstone of long-term growth in the agricultural sector. Empowering farmers with both practical expertise on product application and broader best practices in poultry management remains central to the company’s mission. The Harare seminar marked a significant step toward achieving this goal, offering a full day of learning, discussion, and hands-on demonstrations.
The program focused on critical aspects of poultry farming, including the full poultry lifecycle from egg to mature bird, nutrition and feed management to optimize flock health, practical demonstrations on effective product usage, and strategies for farm management and biosecurity to minimize disease risks. In addition, participants received expert advice on financial solutions tailored to the needs of farmers, covering topics such as access to agricultural credit and banking support.
The event was characterized by high levels of engagement, with attendees actively participating in discussions, posing insightful questions, and exchanging ideas.
“Our commitment goes beyond offering high-quality products,” said Jānis Kuļikovskis, Founder and Board Member of LIONPRO.
“We believe that true progress in agriculture begins with knowledge. Our mission is not only to deliver high-quality products but also to empower farmers with the expertise they need to succeed. By working closely with farming communities, we are building partnerships that create lasting value and drive sustainable growth.”
LIONPRO’s ongoing presence in Zimbabwe reflects its broader mission to support agricultural communities across Africa. The company plans to host additional seminars throughout the year, continuing to foster knowledge sharing, innovation, and professional development among farmers in all regions where it operates.
