Procurement Specialist
About the position
Due to continuous growth and evolving business opportunities, LIONPRO is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support the procurement team in daily operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Operations & Data Management
- Support the procurement team by ensuring accurate data processing and record-keeping.
- Monitor the market and identify potential new suppliers for onboarding.
- Process and enter information into company systems (e.g., purchase orders, product movements, pricing).
- Prepare and manage documentation related to procurement, sales, and business development (e.g., contracts, invoices).
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company standards and internal policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with multiple internal departments to ensure smooth information flow and efficient process execution.
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, documentation, sales, and finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies of L.J. LINEN SIA.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist the procurement team with administrative tasks, including product sample preparation, document management, and related activities.
- Proactively identify issues, take part in problem-solving, and promptly
inform relevant stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, particularly working with data and systems.
- Knowledge of logistics processes, customs procedures, and Incoterms is considered an advantage.
- Experience working with international suppliers is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken (required for communication with international clients and partners).
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with cross-cultural awareness.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a dynamic international environment.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
