Country Manager in Peru

About the position

With constant changes and growth opportunities we are looking for a Country Manager in Peru.

As a Country Manager, your mission will be to grow the business and establish a strong commercial presence in Peru, while ensuring that operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with company strategy.

As a Country Manager, your duties will be:

1. Business Development & Sales Leadership (Primary Focus):

  • drive revenue growth and market expansion in Peru through direct sales and business development;
  • define and execute a local sales and go-to-market strategy aligned with global objectives;
  • build and manage key customer and distributor relationships;
  • lead negotiations with key accounts and strategic partners;
  • identify new business opportunities, products, and applications;
  • representing the company at industry events and customer meetings.

2. Strategic Growth & Market Intelligence:

  • conduct market research and competitor analysis;
  • translate insights into growth initiatives and recommendations;
  • support long-term planning, portfolio expansion, and partnerships;
  • monitor performance against targets.

3. Business Efficiency & Operational Oversight:

  • oversee day-to-day business operations;
  • ensure coordination between sales, logistics, finance, and HQ;
  • monitor KPIs, margins, costs, and working capital;
  • improve processes for speed, transparency, and cost efficiency;
  • ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and budgeting;
  • allocate resources effectively and manage risks.

4. Team Leadership & Organization:

  • build and develop a high-performing local team;
  • set objectives, KPIs, and accountability;
  • coach and support team members;
  • act as a bridge between local operations and HQ.

5. Country Management & Governance:

  • oversee setup and maintenance of the legal entity;
  • ensure compliance with support from external advisors;
  • maintain relationships with relevant authorities.

As a Country Manager, you should have:

  • strong commercial and operational mindset;
  • entrepreneurial and execution-oriented skills;
  • excellent communication and negotiation skillset;
  • Fluent English/Spanish;
  • Strategic, data-driven, and structured mindset;
  • Strong people leadership capabilities;
  • Google Workspace, MS Office, CRM tools.
